Artist Statement
Zion Williamson is a rare combination of size, power, and agility. His awesome ability to finish at the rim with thunderous dunks have made him a fan favorite at an early stage in his career. Although he is just getting started in the league, there is no predicting how far his talent will carry him or how high this powerhouse of an athlete will soar.
The concept behind the Raw Power image was to visually emphasize the strength and power Zion brings to his game. The deflated balls symbolize a young man who has yet to fully realize how much his attributes, skills, and presence may impact the league. The magical mist rising from the crushed balls is a hint that everyone will soon find out as Zion embarks on his journey to unleash his full potential.
